Larkin Architect Limited's design to update the pool equipment and change room amenities saw to the removal of a large masonry wall and concrete bleacher that created a barrier to the large city park that the pool is situated in. While incorporating completely new mechanical pool equipment, the redesign envisions the main pavilion as a colourful 'beach cabana' clad in multi-striped mosaic tiles.
