This new 1,100 seat church is of natural earth-toned materials and detailed in a style that recalls the architectural heritage of historic Oakville. The prominent bell tower or "axis mundi" anchors the church to its particular site and establishes a threshold between the sacred and the profane. Most dramatic at night, when lit from within, this tower serves as a beacon of Catholic presence to the surrounding neighbourhood
